This section has a selection of activities that you can do indoors, each with an active element (some will work outdoors as well). There are also suggestions on how to adjust the difficulty for different ages and abilities. Some of the indoor active games require a bit of preparation. If you’re looking for something quick and easy, try Quick Active Games, No Resources, or the Active Alphabet Challenge. If you’re looking for a way to really burn some energy indoors, try Musical Action Stations.
The activities on the site are designed with a range of ages in mind. Younger children might enjoy the Jump and Grab Challenge. If you have a range of ages who want to play together, try the Active Dice Game.
The Indoor Activities on the site at the moment are best to do at home with individuals or families. If you’re looking for group activities, I will be adding more to the site over time. For now, the Active Alphabet Challenge has two activities, the second of which is ideal for groups.
Use the Indoor Active Games Menu to browse the activities in this section (mobile users – scroll down).
