Scavenger hunts are fun for all ages and easy to do with a mixed age group too. This page has some simple pre-school scavenger hunts with pictures of things you might see when out and about and boxes to tick them off as you go. Click on a link to download the free printable.
Choose a hunt based on where you’re going. There are two types: Neighbourhood hunts and Nature hunts. The neighbourhood hunts contain things that you might see where there are roads and houses whereas the nature hunts will be easier to complete in countryside or parks. If these are a bit easy, try the main Scavenger Hunts page for longer lists of items that require more interpretation.
Stuff Needed:
- Scavenger Hunt Sheet – Select the hunt you’d like and click on the link to download it. Each hunt has about ten things to find.
- Pencil to tick off items you’ve seen.
